Set up a Realme phone
You may need to make additional system adjustments for Realme devices to record tracks with Geo Tracker in the background without interruptions.
1. Disable Power Saving
Section titled “1. Disable Power Saving”Open System settings → Battery and ensure all power saving modes are switched off – toggles should be switched off like in the screenshot:
2. Allow Background Activity & Auto Launch
Section titled “2. Allow Background Activity & Auto Launch”Next, on the same screen, open “App battery management” and select Geo Tracker.
Turn on the “Allow background activity” and “Allow auto launch” options.
3. Set Performance Mode
Section titled “3. Set Performance Mode”Open System settings → Battery → More battery settings → Performance mode and select “Smart performance mode” or “High performance mode”.
4. Disable Battery Optimization
Section titled “4. Disable Battery Optimization”Open System settings → Battery → More battery settings → Optimize battery use → Geo Tracker and select “Don’t optimize”.
5. Disable “App Quick Freeze”
Section titled “5. Disable “App Quick Freeze””Open System settings → Battery → More battery settings → App Quick Freeze and ensure it is switched OFF for Geo Tracker.
6. Disable “Optimized Standby”
Section titled “6. Disable “Optimized Standby””Open System settings → Battery → More battery settings → Optimized standby and switch it OFF.
7. Lock Geo Tracker
Section titled “7. Lock Geo Tracker”To do this, open the app and minimize it by tapping the central button.
Next, go to the app switcher by the bottom-left “sandwich” button.
Tap the two dots near the “Geo Tracker” title and select “Lock” – the lock icon will appear near the “Geo Tracker” title.
