Set up a Huawei phone

You may need to make additional system adjustments for Huawei devices to record tracks with Geo Tracker in the background without interruptions.

1. Disable power saving

Open System settings → Battery and ensure “Power saving mode” is switched off.

2. Configure “App Launch”

On the same screen, tap the “App launch” bullet, find Geo Tracker in the list, and tap the toggle to the right of it. New window will appear, please make sure all three toggles here are switched on – «Auto-launch», «Secondary launch» and «Run in background».

3. Verify

If you set everything up correctly, this apps list will look like this:

Geo Tracker will also suggest you turn off battery optimizations at the start of recording if they are turned on (this is the default). Please also confirm it.
