I installed this app via google play. When I run the app, I always see msg “wait gps…” even when I’m in good position outdoor so no track can be recorded. Only thing that is running is time. What am I doing wrong?

Can you install GPS Status & Toolbox app, to see the GPS sattelites statuses? Seems like a problem with gps in your device.
I always use Bluetooth GPS device for fast GPS and better position. Some Android devices shuts down GPS when battery needs to charge.
You haven’t switched on Android Location services. Unfortunately, Geo-Tracker does not warn you that GPS is not activated except for this misleading “Wait GPS …” message. I have gone for an entire day without recording a single trackpoint because of this. GT should raise a dialogue asking if you want to start Location services, and then allow you to tap a button to start GPS services.

Здравствуйте Илья Богданович, огромный респект за ваш труд. Я совсем далёк от темы создания программ, расскажите пожалуйста по типу ваша программа похожа на программу параллельного вождения, для точного жпс земледелия. Навигаторы с таким приложением очень дорогие и ррасчитаны на крупных фермеров. Если в ваше приложение добавить вид как на навигатора в авто (более приземленней увеличенный вид площади) и сохранить маркер, будет тоже по типу? Или я что то не понимаю? Почему они такие дорогие?

My Galaxy S5 won’t install the app. It appears to try and download from play twice, then says there was a problem. I have downloaded and tried at least 10 other GPS apps (which are all rubbish) with no issue. Is there a problem with the play download for this version? Is GS5 not a supported device? Based on your description and screen shots, i’m really interested in using this as a replacement for google’s mytracks.

I am running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and can’t find the files with file manager. Where are they stored? I can share them with my file manager to a folder on the SD card but would rather just browse to them. (Hope Google translates this for me).
Hi Dave, the issue with exporting to SD-card should be fixed in the most recent version.
I am running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Can you tell me where the GPX files are stored? I set export location to folder on SD card and also tried on the device but can never find exported files. Only way for me is to share them (which works well). Thanks for hard work!

In the most recent version of Geo Tracker you shouldn’t have any problems with export – it should work well.

I use Version 3.3.0.1338 and i am still not able to export all via the export all function. It’s showing no folders to save in.

Unfortunately I didn’t get your idea clearly. If I got you right, you want to share statistics to Facebook. This feature is already available in the most recent version of Geo Tracker.

Здравствуйте, уважаемый Илья! Очень благодарен Вам за классную программу. Я работаю водителем городского автобуса и пользуюсь Геотрекером постоянно. Некоторые маршруты я записывал при помощи Геотрекером, некоторые составлял сам в приложении Google my Maps. В любом из вариантов все функционирует великолепно. В работе использовал Samsung Galaxy S3 с системой Android 4.3. Параллельно установил Геотрекером на планшет Nexus 7. Все стабильно работает начиная с Android 5.x до последнего обновления на Android 6.0.1. Единственным, на мой взгляд, неудобством является импортированные отдельных маршрутов из папки MyMaps. У меня сохранено более 150 маршрутов. Чтобы загрузить один -два приходится заходить в “Мои файлы” -“Все файлы”-“Device storage”-“MyMaps”- клик на выбранный маршрут. Маршрут автоматически включает Геотрекер и загружается. Если грузить непосредственно из программы через “Export from external storage”, автоматом грузятся все полторы сотни маршрутов. Нельзя ли сделать импорт отдельного маршрута из программы по выбору, чтобы мобильнее использовать программу. Это очень помогло бы при необходимости загрузки маршрута во время езды.
Теперь о проблеме с которой я столкнулся. Недавно я приобрёл Samsung Galaxy S7 ( SM-G930F) с системой Аndroid 6.0.1. Загрузил на него Геотрекер. Но, иногда после создания нового маршрута при его экспорте ( нажатии на иконку “экспортировать”) ” вылетает” программа. Самая большая проблема – НЕ ВОЗМОЖНО импортировать отдельный маршрут. При выборе маршрута по описанной выше схеме из папки MyMaps выходит сообщение “Не удается найти приложение для этого действия”. Все маршруты у меня в формате gpx. Как я уже писал, импортировать 150 маршрутов непосредственно функцией геотрекера ( эта возможность есть?) а потом удалять выборочно148 , понятно, не приятно. Мне пришлось пока вернуться к Galaxy S3, который обещал сыну, т.к. без вашей программы мне на работе сложно справляться.
Подскажите, пожалуйста, как решить проблему с S7 и возможно ли доработать Геотрекер с учетом моей просьбы импорта отдельных маршрутов? В любом случае буду Вам благодарен за ответ и консультацию. Многие мои коллеги после моей рекомендации установили и пользуются вашей разработкой. Вопросы импорта файлов теже, что и у меня. Заранее Вам благодарен и извините за беспокойство.

In the “Statistics” section would be better to indicate the slope in percentages and not in degrees.

Добры день, так как летаем на возду́шный шарах очень программа помогает определить высоту и дальность, потом анализировать. Но всегда надо переключать на другую программу для поиска где сел возду́шный шар. Можете ли вы сделать чтобы добавить хотя бы один дополнительный клиент чтобы видно было где его точка снижение.
А если ещё и навигация была до этой точки чтобы было одна из лучших программ.

Доброго дня! Геотрекером пользуюсь довольно часто, что очень в нем нравится:
1) Простой интерфейс;
2) Придельный понятные настройки;
3) Легкая программа, не напрягает телефон;
4) Статистика трека просто выше всяких похвал, максимально информативно, супер!
Но вот как мне кажется очень не хватает у трекера определения высоты через барометр (альтиметр) телефона. То как трекер фиксирует высота очень не точно в горной местности. Вот и приходится когда в горах хожу, записывать другим трекером (который поддерживает барометр телефона), а просматривать через геотрекер ))
И ну резонный вопрос, планируется опция чтобы трекер высоту записывал с барометра телефона?

I use Geo Tracker for recording bicycle rides to discover new routes for my cycling group. I edit these tracks in Viking and then print the map with route to take with me when it is my turn to lead the group. Would it be possible to modify Geo Tracker to use as a poor man’s route finder.
To keep it simple and not clutter it with a lot of voice directions or turn warnings, I suggest the following:
@ load any edited route
@ current position symbol is shown so I can watch my mobile phone while we are riding to anticipate turns
@ a bell warning can be manually placed to warn of tricky turns or hazards
@ notes can be dropped to describe important information, e.g. be prepared to shift to low gear for a steep climb hidden by a blind corner
Some other suggestions:
@ Duplicate your site in English, which has now become the international language. (I’m sure there must be Slovak (?) to English translation software that can make a rough draft that can be edited. In the future it might be possible to automate the process.)
@ At least give English instructions for your donations page!

Hello. I love Geo Tracker. It works perfect to track my ways. BUTT: Your Statisik Graphic never goes to 0 (Zero) when I stop on the way and do really no movement. Graphik: Geschwindigkeitsdiagramm y=km/h x=km Type=Distanz.

спасибо что добавили отображение треков на карте до 100 штук вместо 10 вроде. задонил 300р. но вообще в перспективе и 100 будет мало, с чем связано ограничение, и возможно ли его преодолеть в будущем?

Ограничение связано с потреблением памяти. В будущем возможно сделаю более гибкий подход, когда будет отображаться столько треков, сколько возможно по памяти.
